Kooza is... tricky

A little break from drawing dragons ^^
Been to the Kooza recently and the Trickster instantly became my favourite - no surprise for anyone who's seen the show I guess. In fact I'm pretty sure anyone who likes watching acrobats (I love it!) knows the OMGTHEWAYTHISGUYMOVES feeling. Well, it was exactly that one at it's best. So if u ever find Kooza is stopping somewhere nearby, go and see it - it's really worthwhile.
As for the drawing - it's based on a bunch of photos from he show with altered colours/changed outfits etc. (f.ex. figure on the right was basically wearing the red costume, but I wanted the blue one on it). And there is one major problem here - Trickster is all about action and movement, so it was hard to make a static picture that would have his dynamism. Eventually I chose to portray his overall attitude - one of the things that make him even more interesting. He's neither good nor bad, he plays the way that amuses him the most at the very moment, so u can never be sure if the next thing he shows u is the most beautiful dream u've ever seen, or your worst nightmare. Or - as one of the actors performing this role said - you never know if he wants to scratch your eyes out or hug u. Well, he's just... tricky.
