So managed to finish another dragon - Chinese Scarlet Flower. I wanted it to resemble the traditional Chinese dragon as it was described alike. Also found that this one will be interesting having male and female version. I think Flowers should be heavyweight - smaller than Celestials/Imperials, but heavy. Chinese are perfectionist when it comes to dragons so - even with that 'useless' breed - they kept improving the breeding.
And last thing - venom. Everybody (Wiki as well) seem to miss that detail. In the book, when Lawrence and Temeraire meet Scarlet Flower for the first time, it's said to have four venom fangs and double row of teeth.

Udało mi się ukończyć kolejnego smoka - chińskiego Scarlet Flower (Szkarłatny Kwiat). Chciałam żeby przypominał tradycyjnego chińskiego smoka, bo tak też był opisany w książkach. Stwierdziłam też, że ten gatunek będzie ciekawszy, jeśli będzie miał wersję męską i żeńską. Wydaje mi się, że Kwiatuszki powinny by ciężkiej wagi - mniejsze od Cesarskich/Niebiańskich, ale jednak ciężkie. Chińczycy pod względem hodowli smoków byli perfekcjonistami, więc - nawet w przypadku tak 'bezużytecznej' rasy - starali się ulepszyć hodowlę.
No i ostatnia rzecz - jad. Wszyscy (włączając Wiki) zdają się zapominać o tym szczególe. W książce, kiedy Lawrence i Temeraire spotykają Szkarłatny Kwiat po raz pierwszy, jest napisane, że ma on cztery kły jadowe i podwójny rząd zębów.
