White stands for misfortune

Yet another piece for - this time the issue was "what if Lien won". While making it, I even came up with a bit of story behind it.
- No talking, barbaric beast! - Lien snarled - You are not allowed to speak in my presence.
There was a loud clang and Temeraire hissed angrily, yet said nothing. Lawrence didn't need to turn around to know what happened. Like many times before, Lien put her rear paw on black dragon's snout and pushed him away from his captain till the chain that held the captured Celestial in place got tight. Oh, that chain! Like all other parts of the humiliating bondage, it was made of the parts of the harness, Temeraire used to wear into battle. Lien decided that if he enjoyed it that much before, he should enjoy it in this form as well.
The idea of no speaking was also hers. Lawrence didn't know, where did she learn such ways of treating prisoners, but he was pretty sure it was not when she accompanied Napoleon during his conquests. At that time Lawrence thought that the worst thing she may do is killing Temeraire or him and leaving the other one to his grief. Now he almost hoped something like that happened. He could barely look at the once mighty and proud dragon - his wings tied close to his body, his crest lying flat on his neck. And his beautiful, solid black scales lost their shine, covered in dust and mud. How awful it must be for a creature that cared for the hygiene more than many people!
They could not speak, but at least they could see each other, though that was not making things better. Granby and Iskierka were in worse state, couldn't even catch a glimpse of one another. Yet poor Granby could be sure of his dragon's presence because of clouds of smoke she was continuously sending up through the wooden platform, making him cough. Beneath them Iskierka was literally boiling with anger, producing insane amounts of steam. To irritate her even more, Lien let her paw hang down almost directly above Kazilik's head. In the beginning of their imprisonment the red dragoness managed to break her bonds and almost bit the dangling limb. After that Lawrence and two dragons were forced to look at Granby getting beating and were warned that any further disobedience will be punished as well. Even Iskierka didn't dare to try if the threat was real.
